Fun Factory Employment Descriptions
STORE MANAGER

Store Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Meet and exceed sales expectations
  • Control labor and other expenses
  • Fix minor game problems
  • Hire, train and lead a team of 4 or more
  • Follow and administer company procedures relating to the store, cash, tokens, token cards and tickets
  • Manage merchandising and create displays
  • Create in-store promotions and marketing strategies to increase sales potential

Qualifications

Ideal applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent and a college or technical school degree, have three plus years in managing an arcade or food/restaurant establishment, be mechanically/technically skilled, be computer literate, and have excellent communication skills. Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Previous management experience
  • Skilled at amusement game repair
  • Proven ability to increase sales & stay within budgets
  • Cash & inventory control
  • Recruitment & training
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle
  • Work weekends and holidays

This position has the opportunity to earn $12,000 or more a year in bonuses.

Store managers work a 6-day work week, which includes Friday evenings, Saturday day or night shift and Sunday day shift.

Our Manager Trainee Program trains and develops newly-hired managers to become "key fun makers." An intense training period of 30 days is followed by a written test. Once the test is passed and the Training Manager has evaluated the Manager Trainee, the Trainee is eligible to manage his/her own store.

ASSISTANT MANAGER

An Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in the day-to-day store operations.

Assistant Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets & goals
  • Help control labor
  • Assist in accurate inventory and ordering
  • Document and notify "failure to comply with" company policies and procedures
  • Opening or closing the store
  • Merchandising and creating displays
  • Performing basic housekeeping

Qualifications

Ideal applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent and two or more years of lead or supervisory experience, be computer literate, and have excellent communication skills. Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Previous management experience
  • Skilled at amusement game repair
  • Cash & inventory control
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

CSR's are our frontline employees. They ensure our customers have a fun-filled experience while in our stores.

Customer Service Representative responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Greet guests in a warm and welcoming manner
  • Have basic knowledge of all our games
  • Assist in merchandising
  • Check games to make sure they are operational
  • Perform basic housekeeping such as mopping, dusting, sweeping and vacuuming

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Have prior cash-handling experience
  • Must be able to work some nights, weekends and holidays

GAME TECHNICIAN

Game technicians train initially in our shop, which is located at Campbell Industrial Park. Once a Technician completes training and is evaluated by the Shop Manager, they are assigned to a store.

Game Technician responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Clean and prepare all games for resale
  • Load and unload games
  • Assist in installing and assembling of games
  • Repair and maintain games
  • Order parts and communicate with manufacturers
  • Understand how all games are played

Qualifications

Ideal applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, be a graduate of a technical institute or have equivalent experience. Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Possess electrical/mechanical knowledge
  • Be able to read schematic drawings
  • Be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Have a valid driver's license
  • Must be able to work Monday-Saturday and holidays

GAME TECHNICAN/CDL B Driver

Same requirements as a Game Technician plus have a valid State of Hawaii CDL B driver's license and a clean driver's abstract. Please see above.
